
The Union of Evangelical Free Churches (Baptists)in Germany cooperates with other churches in the Council of Christian Churches in Germany (ACK) of which it is one of the founding members. Close relationships exist also with the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) and its member churches.
The oldest Association between Churches in Germany is the Council of Evangelical Free Churches, which was founded by the Methodists, the Baptists and the Covenant of Free Evangelical Churches in Germany. Many members of the Union of Evangelical Free Churches work within the German Evangelical Alliance (EAD) together with evangelical Christians from other churches and in joint operations and projects such as "ProChrist" and the "Year of the Bible".

The Baptist World Alliance is a fellowship of 214 Baptist unions and conventions comprising a membership of more than 34 million baptized believers. This represents a community of approximately 80 million Baptists ministering around the world. The BWA unites Baptists worldwide, leads in evangelism, responds to people in need and defends human rights.
EBM International

In 1954, Baptist churches in Europe joined together to form the EBM (European Baptist Mission) to work together in Africa. In 1979, MASA (Missionary Activities in South America) was included and since 1 January 2009, the EBM is in charge of the “INDIENHILFE”. Since 2010 the new name is „EBM International“ with three departments EBM Africa, EBM MASA and EBM India. Today, 15 European, 7 African and 5 Latin American member-unions belong to the EBM International as well as the projects and partners in India. EBM International has the aim to help people in their spiritual and material needs. This is done under the motto: "churches helping churches to fulfil God's mission in the world."

A union of 50 national Baptist unions in 46 different countries of Europe, Eurasia and the Near East
Altogether EBF has about 775,000 baptized members in about 10,600 churches. The size of the unions varies. A lot of them are relatively small. The two biggest unions at the moment are Great Britain (152,000 members) and Ukraine (120,500 members).
